An (almost) total homogeneity of the long-haul product. It is the one that can boast as of today KLM, after announcing The completion of the installation of the new Premium Comfort cabin on all its Boeing 787-9, 787-10, 777-200ER and 777-300ER.

In all, these are 54 airplanes which fit the exact same seats and configurations in Business Class, Premium Comfort and Economy.
From the upgrade process, which also involved the installation on the 777-200ER and 777-300ER of a new Business Class 1-2-1 configuration (the previous one was 2-2-2, while the 787-9 and -10 had already arrived with 4 seats per row in Business), the 6 Airbus A330-200s and 5 Airbus A330-300s that remain in two classes of service but will be withdrawn from service in the years to come and serve secondary routes in the Dutch carrier's long-haul network were left out.
It took a total of two years (with KLM engineers working 24/7)., and 4 to 16 days per airplane, for all long-haul Boeings to be equipped with a true Premium Comfort cabin.
On the 777-200ER and -300ER it can seat 24 passengers in three rows in a 2-4-2 configuration. On Boeing 787-10 there are 28 seats in Premium Comfort (on four rows set up 2-3-2), while on 787-9 there are 21 (on three rows also set up 2-3-2).
On all four models, Premium Comfort seats are Collins Aerospace MIQ equipped with headrests with 'flaps' for added privacy, a leg support and a footrest.
The seat width is 18.5 inches (47 centimeters) while the pitch (the distance between rows) is 38 inches (96 centimeters), 7 inches (18 centimeters) more than the pitch in Economy (but a portion of Economy seats, called Economy Comfort, has a pitch of 35 inches, or 89 centimeters).
Each seat has a 13.3-inch IFE screen, reclines 8 inches (20 centimeters) and is equipped with a universal power outlet and USB-A and USB-C sockets.
