After being chosen by the European Commission as 'remedy taker' as part of Lufthansa's acquisition of ITA Airways, and after announcing several new routes from Rome-Fiumicino and Milan-Linate, now easyJet points to southern Italy and presents the new destinations of thesummer 2025 by Bari, Toast, Palermo e Lamezia Terme.

During summer '25, starting respectively May 23 and June 5, you will be able to fly from Bari and Brindisi airports to the city of Lyon: there will be 3 flights per week from BRI (every Monday, Wednesday and Friday), and 2 frequencies from BDS (on Thursdays and Sundays). Thanks to the new flights, the number of flights operated by the company from Bari airport rises to 7 and those operated from Brindisi to 6.
News also regarding Palermo's "Falcone-Borsellino" airport: from next June 3, the new Palermo-Lisbon route will be active, which will have two frequencies per week (Tuesday and Friday). With the addition of the Portuguese capital, this makes 15 destinations reachable by PMO.
Last but not least, easyJet is also targeting Calabria and, specifically, Lamezia Terme: From May 21, passengers will be able to fly to Orly, the city airport in Paris. Two flights per week will be available, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This makes the number of destinations offered by the British low-cost carrier to and from the Lammet airport five.

Thanks to the new flights on sale from today, there are more connections available to our customers in Puglia, Calabria and Sicily, who will be able to fly to more and more European destinations at affordable fares and with quality service. These routes will also make the beauty of these regions more accessible to international tourism," emphasizes Lorenzo Lagorio, Country Manager of easyJet Italy.
During the upcoming summer season, easyJet will offer. 250 routes to and from 20 Italian airports and will be 38 'orange' aircraft based.
