Americans increasingly crazy about Italy. Intercontinental routes to the U.S. from Rome-Fiumicino are enriched with a new destination: Denver. Well, yes: for the first time, a direct link between Italy and the state of Colorado will be active.

It will be United, as of next May 2, to offer the direct connection. The operational includes. one flight a day: it will start from FCO at 2:20 p.m. and will land at DEN at 5:45 p.m. (local time); on the reverse leg, takeoff from Denver is scheduled at 5:50 p.m., while arrival at Fiumicino is scheduled for 12:20 p.m. the following day (local time). The route will be operated with the Boeing 787-9 outfitted in 3 classes: 48 business class seats (the United Polaris), 21 in premium economy (the United Premium Plus) and 188 in tourist class, for a total of 257 seats.
"We are excited to announce the first direct flight between Rome and Denver, further expanding our network from Italy to the United States. By summer 2025, our customers in Rome will enjoy an even wider choice of destinations as well as easy connections through our hubs in New York/Newark, Washington D.C., Chicago O'Hare, San Francisco and now Denver to more than 180 destinations throughout the Americas," commented Marcel Fuchs, Managing Director International Sales, United Airlines.
The new Rome-Denver route adds to the existing routes operated by United from Italy to the US, both seasonal and non-seasonal. One can fly, in fact, from Rome and Milan to New York (EWR) and Chicago O'Hare; from FCO to San Francisco and Washington; and from Venice and Naples to New York-Newark. Then, starting in May 2025, it will be possible to fly from Venice to Washington D.C. and from Palermo to New York. United, during summer '25, will operate up to 14 direct flights a day from Italy to the U.S..
