Special mention for the design, which is known to be the common thread running through all W Hotels. Built on the site of the iconic Theater Via Funchal, the hotel was designed by the renowned firm Aflalo/Gasperini Arquitetos, with interiors curated by Nini de Andrade Silva. The structure features a vibrant color palette ranging from green to blue, from metallics to golden tones, creating an environment that is both sophisticated and playful, celebrating the cultural essence of São Paulo. Natural Brazilian materials, then, such as stone and wood, help reinforce the link between contemporary design and local heritage.

The gastronomic offerings at W São Paulo are respectable. The restaurant L40 Cozinha de Latitude, located on the 40th floor, offers incredible panoramic views of the city and gives guests the opportunity to take a culinary journey around the world. Then on the 23rd floor is the Baio Cozinha Sulista: here the celebrity chef Tuca Mezzomo celebrates southern Brazilian cuisine with a contemporary twist, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Finally, on the 24th floor, we find the Yōso Bar and Café, the ideal place to discover Japanese mixology. The proposal of innovative cocktails, enriched with unexpected ingredients, creates a sophisticated and unique atmosphere.

How are the prices? Quite high, evidently, since it is an upscale sign. The base rate starts at about €450 euros per night; to redeem an award night, however, you will need at least 69,000 points.
