Little gestures that I enjoy to death and jealously preserve

Many find it hard to believe, but I am not an influencer or at least not in the literal sense of the word. I repeat it in all the videos, because those who don't know me might think that I am one of the many who call company or hotel and ask for free tickets, stays or special treatment.
In this article:
We often read about controversies between entrepreneurs and influencers (or wannabe influencers) who blurt out at the umpteenth request for free dinner and the like. I have never done that, I always pay for everything out of my own pocket, and I defy anyone to say otherwise, this means I don't even notify anyone to say, "Hey I'll be on board, be sure to polish the silverware!"
Obviously net of experiences that are available in the market, e.g. I could not have bought a ticket to attend the ITA Airways'A330neo handover ceremony. Except by accepting an invitation from the company.
The difference between airplane and hotel
There is a substantial difference between hotel and airplane "special treatment" options. In the first case in a hotel, especially in chains, there are people who play the role of loyalty managers and are in charge of managing the most loyal guests. In an airplane it is the purser, or cabin manager, who by checking the onboard tablet can see if there are special guests on board. The time to organize is also different: in hotels you have a lot of time (and a lot of availability) in airplanes it is little (and all limited).
In contrast, however, it is much more obvious the "work" I do on the plane than when I am one of the many guests in the hotel, so the most genuine surprises I have received on the plane even though to date I have not yet Tried to fly on my birthday.
The most beautiful surprises I received on the plane
On some FB groups dedicated to Platinum (and higher) status holders in the Flying Blue program, there is a competition to share the nicest card, the most original gesture, or the biggest surprise when setting foot on board.
It hasn't happened to me often, but recollection of an economy flight from Amsterdam to Milan (which I had risked missing through my own fault) I arrive on board with boarding practically finished and at the seat I find a welcome kit like this. Obviously the eyes of the people near me staring at me trying to figure out who I was.
In contrast with Emirates I often get "little thoughts" certainly what they gave me At the end of the flight from Geneva to Dubai in August 2024 was one of the most beautiful. Not only little presents, but especially a card signed by almost all the crew aboard the 777/300.
Of course I leave out when I travel with my daughter because we literally get covered with toys, bags, covers and other gadgets designed for those traveling with children.
We are talking about gifts of no economic value, but sometimes things are different, As in the case of the flight with Swiss in May 2024, here at the end of the flight I was given a bottle of the champagne served on board.
I came home with a Grand Cru Cuvee Louise Brut Vintage 2006, or the bottle that is served on board during the service. For the more "venial" a bubble that is priced at about 180€ to the public, and one of those cases where I decided to check baggage so as not to waste the gift in a sad hotel room.
In conclusion
As, from time to time, you can see in the videos I like to chat with the crews, I like to know about aspects of their work and what they do when they are out and about. This often creates a confidential relationship in which I am asked about my own work and a couple of times I have even ended up having evenings with crews in layovers away from home. These gestures in some cases are scripted (especially in hotels) other times completely genuine such as the super gift that Swiss flight attendants gave me.
