Fewer and fewer companies are making frequent flyer tags. TFC is on it: here are our custom tags

If 10 to 15 years ago the tiles physical and the luggage tags of airlines were particularly popular-especially among the most avid collectors-now the same cannot be said. Not that travelers have changed their tastes, let me be clear: I believe with conviction that many, indeed very many, would continue to stick "tags" in their backpacks and suitcases. It is simply that most carriers, especially in Europe, have stopped producing them in the name of the sustainability.
In this article:
Well, yes. One can only say that Covid has led to the digitization of the frequent flyer world: goodbye physical cards in favor of digital wallets. Then, of course, there are some exceptions. Certain carriers, for example, send tags only upon request; others, however, send them automatically only to travelers who reach a certain status.
Delta, recently, presented the new tag in metal reserved exclusively for ff who possess the status Medallion, regardless of the level (silver, gold, platinum, diamond or million miler). Labels, in addition, can be customized by logging into your SkyMiles account: you can add your personal information, such as your first and last name, details of your membership in Delta's loyalty program (such as how long you have been a frequent flyer), and so on.
How is Medallion status obtained? Trivially, you have to fly a lot with Delta. As it is specified on the company's website, you need to spend-between January 1 and December 31 of each year-at least $5,000 to get the silver level of Medallion status; $10,000 for the gold level; $15,000 for platinum; and $28,000 for Diamond.
In any case, to make up for the lack of labels from the various carriers, a good - indeed very good - idea may be to purchase the tags branded The Flight Club. In our shop, in fact, you can find not only the various key chains but also two kinds of labels to attach to your backpack or suitcase: one is customizable (you can add your name and phone number), while the other simply features the TFC logo.
And remember: with every purchase made on the shop you support Flying Angels. As Barbone explained well in an article, each product - depending on price - Generates one or more miles earmarked for FA foundation. For example, with the purchase of TFC's tag you will donate 1 mile. A currency, this, that the foundation will use to redeem airline tickets to enable thousands of children to continue to run, rejoice, live and grow.
Flying Angels Foundation is the only non-profit organization specializing in the organization of Life-saving flights for seriously ill girls and boys around the world. From 2012 to the present Flying Angels Foundation has rescued over 3000 children in 90 countries, working with 113 nonprofit associations and Funding about 6,000 airline tickets. It collaborates continuously with major humanitarian organizations that report the most urgent situations and with numerous doctors at major Italian children's hospitals. For very serious clinical situations, for which a flight on a commercial airliner is impossible, aircraft with dedicated medical equipment and medical personnel are used to assist the little ones in flight.
