Emirates announced the reinstatement of the third daily flight on the Dubai-Rome route, starting June 1, enhancing its operations at Rome Fiumicino.
In this article:

Operated by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, Emirates flight EK099 will depart Dubai at 03:30, arriving in Rome at 07:40. Emirates' return flight EK100 will depart Rome at 11:30 a.m. and arrive in Dubai at 7:20 p.m. The other two flights are operated one daily by A380 and the other also by Boeing.
No new business class from Rome with Emirates
Unfortunately for all EK passengers. neither of the two daily rotations made by Boeing 777/300 will see attendance, at least for the time being, of the 777 renewed.
This means that business class passengers will have to make do with a decidedly substandard product Of today's more modern booths, 3 of 7 do not have direct access to the corridor while 4 out of 7 have to let their eager neighbor pass.
Those that offer more modern cabins, greater travel comfort, a business class where all passengers have direct aisle access, and not even premium economy that is not on the original "triple 7" fleet.
Emirates and Rome a history spanning more than 30 years
Emirates has been serving Italy for more than 30 years, since it launched services to Rome in 1992. Today the airline also operates to Milan, Venice and Bologna. Emirates currently operates 42 weekly flights between Dubai and these major Italian cities with a mix of Boeing 777s and Airbus A380s, as well as A non-stop connection between Milan and New York JFK operated by Airbus A380. Emirates is also preparing to welcome its latest Airbus A350 on flights to Bologna in the coming months.
