There is no work in progress only at the Linate lounge of ITA Airways, but also to the newest of ITA Airways' waiting rooms-the one in Rome's Terminal 1, the one for Schengen flights.

Until now, LH Group premium passengers had access to the Premium Plaza, but as a result of ITA's marriage with Lufthansa they can now enter the Hangar Lounge instead. The big difference of the German group's lounges is the lack of dedicated space for premiu passengers, such as the Senator and HON Circle lounges.
Probable, then, that the expansion could involve incorporating the VIP Room into a new area, perhaps named in the same way, but open to those with Executive/Gold Star Alliance status so as to ensure welcome and greater attention as is the case in the various LH lounges around the world.
