It is not close to the airport, but it is a nice facility. Review Courtyard Milan Linate

In Milan panorama of Marriott hotels this property is the latest addition, has been open since summer 2024, and it goes somewhere between Linate airport and the eastern part of Milan being within the circle of the ring road. Let's say I would not categorize it in a hotels near the airport, if it were not the name deliberately hinting at this "closeness" and also because I haven't seen anywhere reference to shuttles or passenger transportation services (although I could be wrong).
In this article:
This is also one of the first facilities in Europe to follow the brand's new style line, a trend I have already Experienced abroad for example in Phonm Penh and not only
Location
We are located in the Ortica neighborhood, in an office complex including BT's headquarters in Italy. The area is halfway between downtown Milan and the airport. We are nowhere near Linate as the Moxy is, but we are also not as far away as, for example, the Doubletree or the Garden Inn Are distant from Malpensa.
Of course it is not super convenient if you want to go to the airport, but given its proximity to transportation and interchange parking it could be convenient for those who want to stay in Milan, without spending big bucks.
Reservation
As always you book through the app, except to "believe" you have booked and show up at the front desk as happened to me. It was after 1 a.m. and when the attendant could not find my reservation for a second I thought I had "dreamed" of booking the Courtyard, in the end I had not booked anything. Little bad because for the purpose of points, bonuses and benefits, direct hotel reservations also count.
I with this stay also began to maximize The current promo that gives away double qualifying nights plus 1,000 bonus points for each stay, a nice accelerator to renew my Titanium Elite card and continue my Status-for-life hunt.
The room
The hotel has almost 150 rooms, and I must say that I really liked the layout. Courtyard is a "middle" sign in the Marriott categories, even though the hotel in question is a 4-star. One thing I am not sure about is the outside gate that "inhibits" access without having to ring a bell.
Clean and essential lines, room still "immaculate "or nearly so.
In the room the setup is minimal, the closet nonexistent, but it's not one of those facilities where you spend your vacation there. Convenient corner work table with easy-to-reach power outlets and powerful, stable wi-fi signal. King mattress with a topper of the kind Barbieri would like and just the right mix of pillows.
Modern bathroom, large shower, and almost a total absence of single-use plastic.
No plastic bottle, but in convenient bric.
Most of all, I appreciated the sockets for both traditional USB and USB-C, but even more so the button that turns off all the lights, without having to go around to find the switch for each individual bulb.
In the room the usual TV screen, smart. I wanted to watch the Sanremo finale, but I couldn't change the channel, so I turned it off and didn't watch anything.
The structure
The trend in these hotels is to concentrate social spaces; I honestly didn't go to see the gym on the second floor, but just popped into the restaurant area (outside breakfast hours). Nice lounge area near the reception, maybe a tad small for a hotel that can easily accommodate more than 300 people.
How certainly undersized is the restaurant/breakfast area. I imagine that on busy days at 8 a.m. there is a struggle to find a place to eat breakfast or even get to the small corner where the food is placed.
Very nice these two Business Pods, available to guests, a solution I hadn't seen around yet, too bad they are placed in the dining room and attached to the bar counter, at certain hours I think it's hard to work there in "silence."
In conclusion
On the hardware level, nothing to say, certainly you are not very close to the airport and in the immediate vicinity there is not much. It is fresh, modern and pleasant, though. Perhaps only the staff has not yet well learned the difference between working in an independent hotel and one in a chain, no "thank you for your loyalty," little knowledge of the benefits and attention to detail of a loyal, but struggling guest as I was when I showed up at the front desk.
