Wizz Air points to Italy and announces two new routes. From the end of the month of October 2025 the Hungarian low-cost carrier will connect the airports of Bergamo e Bari with Chisinau, the capital of the Moldova.

Going into specifics, on the day October 26 connections between the Bergamo and Moldovan airports will begin: they will be 4 the weekly frequencies, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Departure from BGY is scheduled at 21:50, while arrival in RMO is at 01:15; in the reverse route, it takes off from Chisinau airport at 19:40 and arrives at "Il Caravaggio" in Bergamo at 21:20.

Two days later, however, the October 28, connections between Bari and Chisinau will also start: in this case. the weekly flights will be 3, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It takes off from BRI at 3 p.m. and arrives in RMO exactly two hours later; on the reverse leg, departure is scheduled at 1:25 p.m., while arrival at Bari's "Karol Wojtyla" is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
Both routes will be operated with Airbuses from the A320 family: Wizz Air Group currently has a fleet of 227 aircraft - 41 Airbus A320s (6 of them in the -neo version) and 186 A321s (145 in the more modern -neo variant)-all outfitted with only the economy cabin.
