Phuket is the largest island in Thailand, one of the most appreciated and coveted by Italians and others. To reach it from our country, it is necessary to make a stopover, for example to Doha or Dubai if you fly with Qatar or Emirates, respectively. To be fair, a direct connecting flight between Italy and Phuket was there: Was operated by Neos - both from Milan and Rome - But, at the end of April, these routes will no longer be served.

Flight AF156 will take off from Paris at 3:50 p.m. and land in Phuket at 9:25 a.m. the following day (local time); on the reverse leg, departure from the Thai island is scheduled at 11:50 a.m., while arrival at CDG is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. Flight schedules, AF points out, are subject to obtaining the necessary government approvals; for this reason, reservations are not yet possible.

Connections will be operated with the Boeing 777-300ER by 472 places outfitted with 3 classes of service: business (14 seats), premium economy (28) and economy (430). Since TFC was founded in November 2020, we have been to this island several times: especially when, during the pandemic, Phuket was the only 'open port' for anyone wanting to travel to Thailand. All this is to say that we have reviewed several hotel facilities over the years. For example, in the Patong area-the liveliest and busiest-we have already reviewed the Marriott Merlin Beach Resort; the Four Points by Sheraton , the newest structure built from scratch and completed in 2020; finally the Doubletree Banthai beach resort, a short walk from Bangla Road.
