Cathay Pacific, get up to 5500 Asia Miles with "Cathay Members' Fiesta": what it is and how it works

It is time for promotions in the house Cathay Pacific. The Hong Kong company launched the "Cathay Members' Fiesta", through which frequent flyers will be able to earn extra Asia Miles points. More specifically, the offer - which will last until May 31, 2025 - allows you to earn up to 5,500 bonus miles Completing a series of goals.

To participate, you must be a member of Cathay's FF and register for the promotion on the company's website; after that, you will have time until the end of May to complete several activities that will earn you extra miles.

The promotion is divided into four objectives, or levels: the first I will allow you to earn 500 miles, the second 1000, the third and fourth 2000. Keep in mind, as noted in the image, the 6 categories in which to spend/earn points. Let us see, now, the four "levels" of promotion.

To reach the first objective, it is necessary to complete two 'transactions' with miles: for example, accumulating points through the purchase of a CX flight or redeeming miles to discount an airline ticket; having done this, you will get a bonus of 500 miles. To reach, however, the second 'level' and get 1,000 bonus miles, you will need to complete transactions in at least two of the six categories we mentioned above (flights, shopping, travel, and so on).  

From third objective onwards, the going gets tougher. To get the 2,000 Asia Miles bonus, you will need to earn at least 30,000, either through flights or with Cathay's partners. Last but not least, you will reach the 4th objective - that is, a bonus of 2,000 miles-if you redeem at least 10,000 Asia Miles in Cathay Holidays and Cathay Shop portals.
