After its retirement in April 2020, the A6-EDA was one of the first three Airbus A380s in the world to be recycled, thanks to the work of Falcon Aircraft Recycling at the airport in Dubai Al Maktoum (DWC). Most of the materials were disposed of responsibly, but some sections of the fuselage were carefully preserved, ready to be turned into authentic collector's items.
