Kuwait Airways First Class Lounge review: the Almubarakiya is the least beautiful in the world

KWI Terminal 4 is the home of Kuwait Airways., a carrier that also flies to Rome and Milan in Italy. Milan is one of the destinations of its new "jewel" i.e. the extremely rare A330/800neo. An aircraft produced in only 7 examples.
In this article:
In the course of my journey of "firsts" I departed Kuwait bound for Bangladesh aboard Kuwait Airways' First Class and thus also had access to the lounge dedicated to First Class passengers.
Location
This lounge is located on the ground floor of the termina, the duty free floor. As you leave the shopping area, go past the escalator to the upper floor, and at the end of the corridor is the entrance.
Passing through the very ambitious portal, your ticket is checked and being from F you are asked to move on, other business or status passengers have a dedicated lounge at the end of the aisle.
Access
You enter this lounge only if you travel first class or have the highest level of Kuwait Airways' loyalty program, a carrier that I remind you does not participate in any alliance.
The lounge
It's a small room, which definitely has nice decor and the fact that it's non-smoking. Here, I remember, people still smoke everywhere. So much so that there are even DIY notices in the bathroom doors, which are very truck stop-ish.
Compared to the other lounges in Kuwait, there are two in this terminal, there is a better food offering.
The room actually houses a small restaurant, there is even a QR that allows you to read the breakfast and lunch menu. What isn't clear is that there is nothing to order, it's all in the buffet where then the staff arranges to plate what is chosen.
There is a nice view of the runway. The rest is just sitting in a very quiet environment, compared to regular lounges where there are also children running around (too) joyfully.
Food & Beverage
The menu only serves to tell what is in the buffet. Here you are then served by the staff.
I opted for a dish with chicken, rice and a "typical" sauce along with some fruit and treats.
Of course, no alcohol, as in the rest of the plane, the airport, and the nation.
In conclusion
Objectively the worst first class lounge I have ever been in, there is not even the classic Arab pageantry that you have in Doha or Dubai, just some stools and computers turned off.
