The third port of call in Italy for SAUDIA
After Milan Malpensa e Rome Fiumicino, Venice becomes the third Italian gateway served directly by SAUDIA. A significant expansion that underscores the company's growing interest in the Italian market, both in terms of business and leisure traffic.
"Opening a third station in Italy is a source of pride for us," commented Fabio Zinanni, Sales Manager Italy of SAUDIA. "Our preferred sales channel has always been travel agencies, and the flights from Venice represent another step in our growth plan. 2024 was a record year and 2025 looks even better."

Venice strategic point for the Northeast
The choice of Venice as a new port of call also reflects the growing demand for direct connections between northeastern Italy and the Arabian Peninsula. Not only because of tourist flows, but also because of the intense traffic related to business and investment of Italian companies active in Saudi Arabia.
"Venice can become an important hub for SAUDIA," Zinanni continued, "especially for the Northeast area, where so many companies have trade ties with the Kingdom. Having two direct and frequent routes is a real competitive advantage."
A key role in the implementation of the project was played by the SAVE Group, manager of the Venetian airport, which supported the arrival of the Arab company with an active partnership on several fronts.
"Welcoming SAUDIA to Venice is cause for satisfaction," said Camillo Bozzolo, SAVE Group's Aviation Development Director. "The Kingdom is the largest Middle Eastern market by population, and these direct flights make it possible to connect Venice not only to the two major Saudi cities, but also to the entire network of destinations served by SAUDIA, including Southeast Asia and the Middle East."
