Developers and more 'aware' (and geeky) users can already download the beta of the software; the final version of the software, however, will be available from from next autumn. Let's find out, meanwhile, the news related to the world of travel.
The system app "Wallet" has been much improved over the years by Apple, and with iOS 26 it becomes - if possible - even more functional. Boarding passes, as is already the case now, will, of course, remain available in the notification screen as long as we land in our destinations; with the new version of iOS, however, the following will be available in the digital ticket new functions (in addition to the flight information already present) such as the button to share the flight tracker, the ability to access the "Maps" to navigate the various airports and use "Where is" to track one's luggage.
Did you get your flight cancelled, miss your connection, land late?
You could get up to 600€ compensation per person
Not only that, Wallet, in the notification center, will show the real-time updates of one's flight - as does Flighty, to be clear. This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the real 'killer feature', as the good ones say.
