Turkish Airlines (the first of the Europeans, as has been the case for years now) gains one position from 2024 and follows in sixth place ahead of Korean Air, Air France (which gains one position from 2024), Japan Airlines (which plummets from sixth to ninth place in one year) and Hainan Airlines.
Skytrax Top 10 reconfirms dominance of Asian companies in Skytrax's overall ratings, with as many as eight of the top 10 companies based on that continent, although Europe's top two are making inroads through the introduction of new booths and ever-improving service.
The new entries in the top 10 are Korean Air (which introduced a totally new brand just a few weeks ago) and Hainan Airlines, the only one among Chinese companies to boast Skytrax's five Stars.
Exit, however, from the list of the world's top 10 carriers Eva Air (which was eighth and is now 12th) and Swiss, which loses 10th place and slips to 11th.
The ranking from 11th to 20th position is as follows.: Swiss, Eva Air, British Airways, Qantas, Lufthansa, Virgin Atlantic, Saudia, Starlux Airlines, Air Canada (first in North America), and Iberia.
There are no less than five Europeans here. Prominent, as usual, is the absence of the three U.S. majors (American, United, and Delta) reconfirming that the U.S. does not fly well.
