The heart of the partnership is The introduction of a dedicated chauffeur-driven car service for Business Elite, Business Class passengers and members of Riyadh Air's loyalty program. In fact, customers will be entitled to a free transfer in high-end vehicles within A radius of 50 km from Riyadh's King Khalid Airport., thanks to the Blacklane fleet, synonymous with elegance, discretion and comfort.
The service will be fully integrated into Riyadh Air's booking platform, making travel planning even smoother: from flight booking to home pick-up, everything will be done with just a few clicks.
Not only in Saudi Arabia: agreement allows Riyadh Air customers to book Blacklane services in more than 500 cities and 50 countries. Whether it is an airport transfer, city-to-city move or hourly chauffeur service, the experience will be up to the highest international standards. To read the press release then it is clear that the service will not be free when departing from an airport other than King Khalid in Riyadh.
"Our partnership with Blacklane reinforces our mission: to offer authentic Saudi hospitality combined with world-class service standards," said Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air. "After unveiling our new Business Elite seats, this agreement represents another step forward in our promise to deliver a truly exceptional premium experience."
Blacklane, founded by Dr. Jens Wohltorf, employs more than 400 employees in its international hubs and relies on thousands of chauffeur partners worldwide. The company is praised for its impeccable quality of service, driver training, and commitment to sustainability through itsProgressive electrification of the fleet and to cutting-edge mobility programs.
"This collaboration is more than a service: it is a promise," commented Wohltorf. "Together with Riyadh Air, we will offer passengers a trip with attention to detail, with reliability, style and authentic care."
They could have done better
With this partnership, Riyadh Air confirms its ambition to become one of the most prestigious airlines in the world, if, however, the service is free only in the vicinity of the home airport is not a real chauffeur service like That of Emirates, which is the absolute leader in this category. The mileage limitation is also very ungenerous. Today both EK and Etihad if you leave from the UAE have no limitation, certro Saudi Arabia is very big, but even Emirates in Milan picks you up to 80 km from the airport.

It is undeniable that Riyadh Air aims to undermine Qatar from the throne of world's best airline and the carrier in Doha doesn't offer chauffeuring to anyone, so I don't think it's a big miss to get to the point.
