Starting next October 29, easyJet will operate a new air link between Milan Malpensa and the island of Sal, in the archipelago of Cape Verde. The route will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The new flight represents the only direct connection between the island and Milan Malpensa Airport, and expands travel options to West Africa for those departing from northern Italy.
The island of Sal, one of the main ones in the Cape Verdean archipelago, is known for its sandy beaches, the warm climate throughout the year (average temperatures between 23°C and 30°C) and the presence of coastal villages, local markets and traditional music such as morna, which characterizes the area's Creole culture.
With this new route, they rise to 71 the destinations Reachable from Milan airports (Malpensa and Linate) with easyJet flights, four of them introduced for the 2025/2026 winter season
