Normally the conversion rate from Membership Rewards to Hilton Honors is 1:1, now and for the next 2 months you will get 1300 points for every 1000 transferred. Considering how "rare" these promotions are for the Italian market, my advice is to consider well whether you are interested and use it to get the maximum benefit.
From the Maldives to New York, using Hilton Honors points is really convenient because nights booked with points have no hidden costs, this means that there will be no additional charges except for extra services that, as per practice, you still have to pay for.
The details of the promotion
Through August 31, 2025 for each Membership Rewards points transfer to Hilton Honors it will be possible to obtain a Hilton Honors points bonus equal to 30% of Membership Rewards points transferred, compared with the standard conversion value.
American Express is not responsible for availability, housing or any other award in the Hilton Honors program. After transferring Membership Rewards points, they are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Hilton Honors program and cannot be transferred back to the Membership Rewards account.
The bonus will be visible in the Hilton Honors account within eight weeks of the close of the initiative and will be credited by Hilton.
