The American company confirmed that the survey will remain open until the August 29 at 11:00 p.m. Italian time (5 p.m. on the East Coast). Until then everything can still change, because the margin between candidate destinations remains very narrow.
Personally, I am not surprised by Ibiza's third position, since it is Skymiles users who are voting, I do not see it as the classic aspirational destination of the American who wants to vacation in Europe.
Delta has experimented with innovative forms of engaging its community before, but this challenge is unique, although there are those who think the outcome is already written and this is nothing more than a nice guerrilla marketing initiative.
