In this article:
Take care activate 2-factor authentication as soon as possible and link your accounts, this way you protect yourself from any possible fraud or mileage theft.
Everything is handled by avios.com

Now transfers are made exclusively from avios.com.
To link Iberia, Vueling, Aer Lingus and Loganair accounts, simply go to the appropriate page and follow the instructions.
Permanent links

The real novelty is that, on the first transfer, a permanent connection between accounts. This means that:
- you will no longer have to re-enter the data each time,
- You will always see your updated sales,
- movements will be faster (confirming everything through 2FA).
This is the same system that was already being used with Qatar Airways, Finnair and Loganair.
Goodbye to the "forced ride" via British Airways

You no longer have to use the British Airways account as an intermediary. Now you can transfer Avios directly between Iberia, Vueling, Aer Lingus and Loganair, without extra steps. For example: from Iberia to Vueling in one click.
Requirements for linking accounts
As of today, transfers through customer service will no longer be possible: everything is handled online only. Personal data must match perfectly:
- First and last name,
- email,
- Date of birth (if registered).
Once connected, the accounts can no longer be disconnected.
No more waiting on new accounts
In the past, one had to Wait 90 days after opening an Iberia account and have at least one Avios credited to start transfers. Now this limitation is gone: new accounts are up and running immediately.
A step forward for all
The new system Is designed to be safer (stop fraud on Iberia accounts) and at the same time more practical. The ability to move Avios directly between Iberia, Vueling, Aer Lingus and Loganair without going through BA is perhaps the most appreciated new feature by frequent flyers.
