Hilton chose Hamburg for the debut of its most exclusive brand, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, and the news is no small thing.
In this article:
To date, the presence Hilton in the city was limited, a real paradox when one considers that Hamburg is home to one of Europe's major ports, one of the most active trade fairs in Germany and-most importantly-the headquarters of Airbus. With the opening of the Conrad Hamburg, this gap is finally being closed.

The hotel, which has 283 rooms and suites, stands within the prestigious Levantehaus, a 1912 Art Nouveau building in the heart of the city. The interiors recall the city's maritime tradition, with deep shades of blue, gray and copper, while the Presidential Suite, 232 sq m with a fireplace and private terrace, further raises the bar for luxury hospitality in the city.

The Conrad Hamburg is located in the Kunstmeile, the city's "art mile," within walking distance of the Elbphilharmonie, City Hall and the Alster Lakes. Inside, guests can admire installations and works by contemporary German artists, including Ada Isensee's famous stained glass ceiling.

There is no shortage of business space: nine meeting rooms for up to 220 people, an executive lounge, and a 1,000-square-meter wellness area with Hamburg's longest indoor pool, spa, sauna, and fitness center.
Food & Beverage with a Latin American Soul

The gastronomic heart of the hotel is the Greta Oto, a restaurant inspired by the flavors of Latin America, ranging from Peruvian ceviche to Brazilian filet. Rounding out the offerings are a mixology bar with signature cocktails and a cigar lounge.
Why this is important news

Conrad Hamburg is not just a new five-star hotel: it signals Hilton's investment in the German market and in a city that attracts business travelers and tourists from around the world. For Italian frequent flyers-who often pass through Hamburg on Airbus business, trade shows or cruises from the port-it means finally having a luxury level Hilton reference, with all the benefits of the program Hilton Honors.
Points Vs Cash: what pays off
Prices for this hotel start at just under 290€, more than double that of the Hampton Inn. Needless to say, there is absolutely no comparison between the two facilities. IThe price in points is definitely cheaper if you choose the Conrad, 75k Hilton Honors per night compared to 55k at the hotel that struggles to be considered a good 3-star hotel.
