History of Gulf Air
Founded in 1950 as Gulf Aviation, Gulf Air is one of the longest-running airlines in the Middle East. In 1974, the company was reorganized as Gulf Air, becoming the flag carrier of Bahrain, Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Oman.

Martin Gauss: the new captain

Gauss began his career as a pilot and has held leadership positions in several European airlines.
His appointment as CEO of Gulf Air represents a new phase for the company, with the aim of strengthening its regional and global competitiveness.
