Milan Linate raises the bar -- focusing on cookies. No, we have not gone crazy: from the first half of 2028 the Milanese airport will host the DoubleTree by Hilton Milan Linate Airport, a four-star hotel that will be more than just a hotel. It will rise within walking distance of the terminal, directly connected to the air terminal: a detail that makes all the difference for travelers because it eliminates shuttles, waits, and inconvenient travel.

And, in keeping with DoubleTree tradition, welcoming guests will also be the famous chocolate check-in cookie, a symbol of Hilton brand hospitality around the world.
The first Hilton at Milan Linate Airport.
For Hilton, this is a historic debut: it will be the Group's first hotel in Milan's Linate airport. So far, the supply in this area has been dominated by insignia Marriott, who manned the airport with different brands.

With this project, Hilton breaks the pattern and brings for the first time one of its brands beyond the ring of bypasses, with the exception of Malpensa where the chain already has a presence, and thus complements the work already underway on another Hilton property in Bergamo Orio al Serio. In addition, it will be the third DoubleTree in the Milan area, after the city one near Certosa Avenue and to Solbiate Olona, so Malpensa area..
Rooms and facilities
The structure will count 216 rooms, including 9 suites, and a range of spaces designed for travelers: conference rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, fitness center and lounge areas. A mix of comfort and functionality that looks as much at business as leisure.
A strategic location
The only ones not happy about this news are the workers at Linate, since the facility will take the place of what used to be the building that housed the employee parking lot.

The new hotel will rise Within the airport area, with direct corridors to the terminal. As the renderings show, at the same time it will overlook theHydroscalo, giving some rooms a view of the basin and the surrounding greenery. It will also be within walking distance of the M4 subway, which connects Linate to San Babila in about 15 minutes.
In the heart of Linate Airport District
The DoubleTree by Hilton is one of the pieces of the larger project of Linate Airport District (LAD), an investment of more than 130 million that will redesign the area with 25,000 square meters of office space, 14,000 square meters of public green space and smart solutions for energy and services.
A few more years of waiting
It will take time: it is scheduled to open in more than two years. But the signal is clear: Linate is no longer just a "city airport," but an urban hub that is changing its skin. And the new DoubleTree by Hilton will be one of its most visible symbols.
