Those flying from Milan with Emirates will soon have one more reason to choose the A380.

The Dubai-based company announced that the Premium Economy will be available on all connections operated by the superjumbo to and from Malpensa, including the route to New York JFK, one of the most iconic links for the Italian market.
From November 10, 2025, the new cabin will debut on daily flights EK205/206 between Dubai-Milan-New York, adding to the direct flight EK091/092 which already connects Malpensa to Dubai with the same offer. Following suit, from the December 1 also direct Dubai-New York flights EK201/202 Will offer premium economy.
In this way, all A380 flights between Milan, UAE and the United States operated by Emirates will offer four cabin classes: First, Business, Premium Economy and Economy.
Emirates Premium Economy
On the Emirates A380, Premium Economy is located at the front of the main deck and accommodates 56 chairs in 2-4-2 configuration. The seats are wider, with more leg room, adjustable footrests and side table.
Each seat is equipped with individual charging sockets and state-of-the-art screen, while on-board service includes a dedicated menu and premium drinks such as the Chandon Vintage Brut 2016, served exclusively in this class.
Milan-New York, a strategic route
The direct connection between Milan and New York operated by Emirates Has now been a staple for more than a decade: it has not only facilitated leisure and business travel, but has helped strengthen economic and cultural relations between Italy and the United States.
Premium Economy network grows
With this extension, Emirates will bring to 68 destinations served in premium economy by March 2026, thanks to a mix of A380s, B777s and the new A350s. The four-class cabin is already available on key routes to Sydney, Singapore, Osaka, Mumbai, Bangalore And many others.
