The traditional Singapore Airlines Global Redemption Sale is back: from the September 9 to 21, 2025 members KrisFlyer can take advantage of 20% discount on Saver award tickets to so many destinations.
In this article:
The travel period covers from November 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026, excluding the Christmas peak from the November 20, 2025 to January 11, 2026.

For Italian travelers, the best news is that direct flights from Milan Malpensa e Rome Fiumicino are included in the promo: with the discount, it only takes 33,600 miles per way in Economy Saver to fly to Singapore.
Closed dates: watch out for bridges
In addition to the Christmas block, each destination has additional blackout period. For example:
- Milan and Rome → Singapore are not bookable with the discount from the March 20 to April 4, 2026.
- Many European flights (Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, London) have blackouts during the period late March - mid-April, which coincides with the Easter vacations in several countries.
These "off limits" periods are designed to prevent the use of miles precisely during the bridges most in demand by local markets.
The advantage of misaligned calendars
This is where the geography of holidays.
The bridge of Easter 2026 falls in late March., in Germany and the United Kingdom, however, some schools and offices have breaks distributed in April. In France, "vacances de printemps" are still different for each area of the country.
Translated: while from Milan and Rome award flights are blocked at Easter, from Paris, Frankfurt or London there may still be places available on days that fall outside the local blackouts for them.
And with the cheap flights or fast trains connecting Italian cities to European capitals, leaving from abroad becomes a concrete strategy to "skip" the constraint of closed dates and continue traveling at a discount.
