Singapore Airlines turns security video into a journey through Singapore's landmarks
Since September 4, the video has been visible on the company's social channels and will be progressively screened on board all SIA flights by the end of October 2025.

Singapore Airlines unveiled its new in-flight safety video, and this time it is not the usual didactic film: it is a real immersive tour through the most iconic places of the City-State. An evolution of the already beautiful video I have repeatedly shown in my videos.

The project, carried out in collaboration with Singapore Tourism Board, shows security procedures as SIA flight attendants interact with local realities: from the lion dance at Jurong Lake Gardens at the kolam of Indian artists, through the silat practiced in Sentosa to an aqua aerobics group that symbolically becomes a life raft.
It is made even more engaging by a watercolor art treatment that recalls Singapore's murals and its multicultural roots. Among the most striking locations are. Gardens by the Bay, Cloud Forest, the historic market Lau Pa Sat and the rooftop of theEsplanade, where the video closes with a breathtaking night skyline.

It is not only a marketing move, but also a clever way to get passengers to look closely at content that is usually ignored. As Singapore Airlines emphasized, the priority remains safety, but with narrative language that manages to excite, intrigue, and at the same time inform.
