Wizz Air continues strong focus on Naples and announces debut of new route Naples-Skopje, which will be operational from March 30, 2026 with three weekly frequencies On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

For Wizz Air, this is an investment made possible by the arrival in October 2025 of a second Capodichino-based aircraft. With this move, the airline will bring to 18 the number of routes operated from Campania, touching 11 Countries and consolidating Naples' role as a strategic base for Italy.
Skopje, capital of North Macedonia, is a novel destination for Naples: a vibrant city in constant transformation, it offers a unique mix of Ottoman and Byzantine architecture, the striking Old Bazaar, the Skopje Fortress and the Stone Bridge, not to mention the Memorial House dedicated to Mother Teresa, who was born here.
According to the data released, from January to August 2025, Wizz Air has already welcomed over 482,000 passengers in Naples, with more than 2,300 flights operated and a completion rate of 99.9%.
