On October 27, not only did the aviation summer come to an end, but also the window within which one had to complete the 6 continents challenge launched by Turkish Airlines.
In this article:

Starting tomorrow, November 1, and for the next two weeks I should receive the transfer to my account Miles&Smiles.
The "Route to 6 continents" challenge.
By the end of June we had Written about TK's initiative: 1 million miles in prize money for those who would be able to fly to all 6 continents (North and South America count for two), a way to remark on the'uniqueness of Turkish Airlines, one of the few airlines in the world to fly literally anywhere and a way to emphasize the fact that it is the carrier that reaches the largest number of Of destinations.

I had decided to attend, also accomplice to some already scheduled reservations, desire confirmed despite the Turkish company changed the rules of the game. And so this summer I found myself passing through Istanbul not once, but six times. Fortunately, I often took advantage of the lounges, and Of the free suites, and I have rarely wasted money (except by choice) Around the world's most expensive airport.
My stages of the "hunt for a million"

Unlike the SAS challenge, I only met 1 guy doing the challenge, while two Italian users confirmed to me that they had reached all the milestones and were, like me, waiting to receive the loot. My trata were:
- Riga/Istanbul/New York (EWR) watch the video on yt
- Cairo/Istanbul/Kuala Lumpur/Sydney (and return) watch the video on yt
- Sofia/Istanbul/Dubai
- Dubai/Istanbul/Nice
- Malpensa/Istanbul/Bogota video coming soon on yt
The first two tickets in business, all the rest of the itinerary in economy, although thanks to the status match, and Elite status, they gave me a free upgrade on the flight to Dubai.
How I plan to spend my loot.
Don't say cat if you don't have it in the bag, also because trusting is good, not trusting is better. In any case, I think I will use a handful of points to fly aboard Turkish A350s, but from Aeroflot, machines that are completely different from the rest of the TK fleet.

Given that I am just over 28k miles away from becoming Elite Plus, which is the top step in TK's loyalty program, and given that Miles&Smiles allows you to convert award miles to status miles, I was considering converting about 140k points to get to Top Tier, by doing so among the benefits I would have the possibility to give 3 users the Elite card, i.e. Gold Star Alliance. This would be a perfect contest to do in early 2026.
Since TK points expire, strictly speaking, after 3 years I can't sleep too much on my treasury, I will therefore aim to use the miles to redeem a couple of tickets during 2026, perhaps to try United's business class from Italy to the U.S., Thai Airways' business class from Milan to BKK, and a ticket aboard Air New Zealand's new business class.
The remaining part I will keep it specially to book a ticket on board the new Turkish Airlines cabins, were to arrive with the 777x, but will probably be installed first on the current 777/300s and A330s given the'Yet another delay in the Boeing household..
In conclusion

Miles&Smiles, Turkish Airlines' loyalty program, is doing the math and in the next few days must prepare to make credits to all the users who have successfully completed the 6 continents challenge, I am one of them and I am looking forward to seeing my balance rise to 7 figures.
