News that will make many European frequent flyers happy: As of October 1, 2025, Air France-KLM Flying Blue members will finally be able to use their miles on Bangkok Airways flights as well.

The agreement, just announced, marks the beginning of a collaboration between the program Flying Blue e FlyerBonus, the loyalty program of the Thai boutique company.
Through this partnership, members of the two programs will be able to Redeem award tickets in both economy and business class On flights operated by both companies.

Specifically, members Flying Blue will be able to fly with Bangkok Airways to some of the Southeast Asia's most iconic destinations - by Koh Samui to Chiang Mai, Sukhothai to Trat and Phuket - in addition to the ASEAN routes served by the Thai carrier.
At The Flight Club we have often talked about Bangkok Airways, a company that stands out for its attentive service, the (Semi) private airports such as the one in Koh Samui and attention to comfort on even the shortest flights. With this new synergy, those who earn Flying Blue miles will be able to earn a pile of miles with these flights as well, because as I always write the important thing is to never leave points on the street.
