The Luxury Collection, flagship brand of Marriott International, officially debuts in Singapore with The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort, the brand's first hotel in the Asian city-state.

The facility is located within the complex Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), one of the region's most iconic tourist destinations, and promises to become a new benchmark for international luxury.
An oasis of tropical charm

The Laurus presents itself as a all-suite hotel with 183 accommodations that blend colonial elegance and tropical atmospheres. Each suite is designed as a "home away from home" for discerning travelers, with thoughtful details and touches that evoke local culture: from design inspired by orchids, Singapore's national flower, to artisanal products such as ETTE teas, Mr. Bucket's chocolate, and Notter Nuts specialties.

The aesthetics of the hotel, combines tradition and modernity: large verandas, historical details, and art installations that celebrate the island's biodiversity, such as the symbolic presence of the Buffy Fish Owl and works from the William Farquhar Collection.
Gastronomy, wellness and exclusive details

The culinary heart of the hotel is Laurus Table, fine dining restaurant with sustainable dishes inspired by Southeast Asian cuisine. A spa, fitness center and swimming pool surrounded by greenery complete the offerings.
Among the most iconic details are the Lasvit chandelier inspired by laurel leaves, and the custom ambient scent "Voyage Céleste," created by Maison21G to evoke the coastal landscapes of Sentosa.
Responsible luxury
The Laurus aims not only for exclusivity, but also for sustainability. The hotel aims for certification BCA Green Mark Platinum, integrates smart energy management systems and promotes eco-friendly practices such as filter taps instead of water bottles, refillable amenities, and furniture made from recycled wood from the RWS construction site.
Special attention also goes to inclusive art: the suites and common areas display works by local artists with disabilities, such as Isabelle Lim's black-and-white photographs and Natalie Holstad's paintings.
Resorts World Sentosa and Marriott: a combination of excellence

For RWS, which already hosts attractions such as Universal Studios Singapore and the new Singapore Oceanarium, the opening of The Laurus represents another step toward high-end. For Marriott, however, this is a major milestone: The Laurus is the first Luxury Collection in Singapore and adds to the group's global portfolio, which now has more than 125 high-end properties in more than 40 countries.
With this debut, Singapore gains a new luxury hotelier icon, set to attract international travelers seeking authentic and refined experiences.
