Can a "top" first class like LaPremière still be improved? The answer is yes, word of Air France. After years in which first class had already achieved levels of excellence, the French airline decided to go further by introducing a revamped, more spacious, more intimate cabin.
In this article:
AF unveiled the booth last March-we at TFC were there, ed. - And now, gradually, More and more routes feature the 'new' LaPremiere: let's find out.
A very exclusive cabin: it is only available on a few(s) Boeing 777-300ERs
Première remains one of the most exclusive products in commercial aviation, is factual.
It is only available on a portion of the fleet Boeing 777-300ER, the only planes the French-Dutch airline has configured with four classes: first, business, premium economy and economy. Currently only in six planes (brands F-GSQE, F-GZND, F-GZNK, F-GZNP, F-GZNQ and F-GSQK) was installed the new suite. The goal is to complete the retrofit of all four-cabin 777s by the end of the 2026, at a rate of one plane per month.

Flying aboard La Premiere is not at all easy. Costs aside-which, later, we will discuss-the difficulty lies in the fact that the routes are limited; in addition to this, the cabin has only four places. From theParis-Charles de Gaulle airport - the "home" of Air France, you can fly aboard La Premiere to New York (JFK), Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Singapore, Tokyo (HND), Dubai, San Paul, Abidjan, Washington. From December 15, 2025, then, also Tel Aviv (TLV) will become part of La Première routes (but for the time being will only be available during during the winter season until the March 28, 2026).
As for the new LaPremiere, however, the routes served are still few.
It is available on flights from Paris to New York (flights AF3/4 and AF5/6), from Paris to Singapore (flights AF256/257), and from Paris to Los Angeles (AF22/23 flights). From November 10, 2025 next, also the route Paris - Miami (MIA) (flights AF90/91) will be operated with the new product, while in December it will be the turn of Tokyo Haneda (HND).
How to tell if you're flying with the new La Première
On the Air France website, it only takes a small detail to find out: if you see the words "aircraft equipped with the new La Première suite.", then you are in the right place (in fact, the best place).

Also the map of places helps: the new configuration shows a armchair and a chaise longue in each suite, with numbering 1A, 1D, 1H and 1L; the old version, on the other hand, had 1A, 1E, 1F and 1L.
How much does it cost to fly La Première
We say it now: is not for everyone, and not only for the cost Of the ticket which, in money, exceeds the 10,000 each way. Even redeeming an award ticket to fly aboard Air France's exclusive first class is beyond the reach of all passengers: nn it is not enough, trivially, to have a big pile of miles.
The reason? Well, because Air France only allows holders of the Platinum status of Flying Blue to detach an award ticket to fly in this cabin. That's not all: you can no longer even upgrade to LP if an award ticket in business class has been redeemed.
In conclusion
If the 'old' La Première was a masterpiece, well, the new one is even more so. For those who are aviation buffs-a true av geek, to put it in English-this one of the experiences to mark in one's bucket list.
