We knew it would happen sooner or later: SAS Eurobonus devalues award tickets (moderately)
It is never pleasant to see prices go up, but the devaluation is all in all moderate, and at least SAS communicated the changes well in advance

I honestly knew it would happen, in fact I must say I thought it would happen sooner.
In this article:
Eurobonus, SAS's loyalty program, announced (very little to the four winds) a devaluation of points, translated for those who speak little of the language of miles and points, an increase in the price of award tickets.
The new Eurobonus table

The new rates will go into effect for all reservations made as of December 1, 2025, although the trip will take place at a later date. The heaviest price increases concern the Business Class and premium cabins on SAS intercontinental flights, as well as many Business reservations on partner carriers. Economy, on the other hand, remains almost completely unchanged.
Saved from this devaluation, however, are flights intra-Europe e intra-Scandinavia and this is good since there are so many sweet spots to fly around Northern Europe with SAS's ATRs.
Old vs. new prices: long-haul SAS flights.

In conclusion

With nearly 1,000 millionaires, and tens of thousands of users with several bonus points accumulated from last year's chllenge it was logical to fear a devaluation, loyalty programs are constantly changing and points are meant to be used. Nevertheless, the new EuroBonus rates are relatively reasonable and, nontrivially, were announced before they came into effect.
If you are aiming for redemption in Business with SAS or partner airlines and can plan ahead, book before december 1, 2025 To avoid the increases.
