ITA Airways here are the new interiors on A321s, but the wrinkles have not been fixed

A few months later, I set foot aboard an ITA Airways A321neo again, actually I should have done it a few days earlier since I had actually chosen ITA to fly to the Dubai Airshow to fly this machine, but things did not go as planned.
In this article:
The same car I had used to fly from Cairo to Rome in August. and that I had reviewed and found it to be in a very embarrassing state, I unexpectedly found it in Nice for a flight to Fiumicino, normally operated on an A220. I chose to fly from Nice because it was four times more expensive from Genoa, But this is nothing new for us Ligurians.

As soon as I stepped on board, I immediately knew it was a "different" car, but reminding me that it was the same plane was Flighty, my inseparable travel companion where I track everything I do around the world.
Goodbye clear carpet
No extensive facelift also because it was not needed, but a few touch-ups to go in and correct the most obvious part of the problem: the light-colored tissues.
The first thing you notice, here as on theA320neo I was talking about in recent days Is the removal of all light-colored carpeting under the seats. Now all the flooring has the same coloring, uniform and dark.

Farewell, then, to that light gray color that soon became an unwatchable mélange of spots, It's just a pity that the passengers continue to give a damn and behave like animals on the savannah.

Certainly the carpet laying was not done properly, or maybe it is already ruined after a few weeks, but still better than before.
Goodbye clear seating
The other novelty is in the change of fabric coloring of the seats. Before, everything was clear, but now it is dark blue that dominates, still elegant, but certainly 100,000 times less delicate and dirty. Solution adopted in economy and premium eco.

However, the fabric remains; there was no change to faux leather, surface definitely more washable and manageable, but it is still better than before.
The other maintenance has not been done

Judging from the INOP premium economy chair, then inoperative (but sold)

And from the marks on the front row seat flap, The one that in my video I had broken into a couple of times, there was no other maintenance, partly because I remember: it takes two things to do these activities, time and spare parts.

ITA evidently has neither one nor the other and therefore the update, which stopped the car for about 45 days, did everything he could to change what needed to be changed; everything else will be taken care of later.
In conclusion
New interior, dark carpeting and seating, this should solve the aesthetic problems, too bad they remain that lead to having many aspects of the aircraft INOP, i.e., inoperative.
