The flight, operated with Boeing 737-8 MAX, departs from Milan Malpensa every Monday at 8:00 pm, arriving in Atyrau on Tuesday at 5:20 am (local time). It is scheduled to return every Friday at 12:15 pm, arriving in Malpensa at 2 pm. From March 2026, a second frequency will be added with a stopover in Almaty (departing on Thursdays at 6:00 pm and arriving on Fridays at 9:25 am local time) and the return on Fridays (departing at 6:10 am and arriving in Malpensa at 2:05 pm). This new route adds to the Milan-Almaty connection introduced in 2022, confirming Neos' commitment to supporting the needs of companies and professionals active in the energy, engineering and industrial services sectors.
Charles Stradiotti, CEO Neos, comments, "With this new route we want to consolidate our role as a bridge between Italy and Kazakhstan, offering efficient travel solutions for those operating in strategic markets. It is an important step to meet the mobility needs of a rapidly developing area and to strengthen economic relations between the two countries".
Thanks to the support of the Italian-Kazakh Commercial Association (ACIK), whose efforts have fostered significant trade exchanges and collaborations between Italy and Kazakhstan, the initiative has become a reality.
Valeriya Timofeyevich, NEOS representative in Kazakhstan, states: "The opening of this route represents more than just a new flight. It is an important step that will inspire new travel, strengthen people-to-people ties and confirm our commitment to strengthening the partnership between Kazakhstan and Italy."
