TAP Air Portugal continues to strengthen its leadership in connections between Europe and Brazil. As of July 2, 2026, the Portuguese flag carrier will open a new route between Lisbon and Curitiba, capital of the state of Paraná, bringing to 14 destinations served in the South American country.

Flights will be operated three times a week - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - with Airbus A330-200 configured for 269 passengers, along the route Lisbon (LIS) - Curitiba (CWB) - Rio de Janeiro (GIG) - Lisbon (LIS). Le ticket sales will open on November 11, 2025.
"TAP's new route enhances Parana on the international stage: the direct connection from Lisbon will boost tourism, facilitate the arrival of European visitors, and expand business opportunities with Europe," said Ratinho Jr., Governor of the State of Parana.
For his part, Carlos Antunes, TAP director for the Americas, emphasized how. "Brazil is a key strategic market for the company's global network.".
