Let's say this lounge is for a few, especially when I think of the average Italian traveler. We are in the non-Schengen zone of Frankfurt airport, but not only that: we are in the most remote zone, the one furthest from everything and everyone.
In this article:

Emirates, T'way and many other airlines depart from here, so if you thought you could pop in before an ITA or Air France flight, sorry: you will be disappointed.

We are located in Hall E of Terminal 2, the one you reach by people mover.
We are 20 minutes, minimum, from the main terminal. However, if you leave from here, the lounge is exactly after the security checkpoint, so impossible to miss.
Access

It has agreements with some airlines-remember that Emirates and Japan Airlines have their respective lounges-so the doors open mostly to passengers with Priority Passes, LoungeKeys or other "all you can visit" cards.
The hall

It is a nice open space. It almost looks like a New York hotel bar, except that it's all self-service.

Behind the reception desk is a kind of sitting room: it is neither a kids room nor a TV room, but let's say it serves a bit of both purposes.
The rest, as mentioned, is a large living room with two huge sofas at the extremes and many small sofas scattered to one side.

On the opposite side we find an area with classic restaurant tables and more sofas.

There is a bar counter in the center, but it is unmanned and deceives with its inviting appearance.

Noteworthy are the four stools facing the outside of the terminal.
Food & Beverage
As mentioned, the bar counter is very nice to look at, but the contents are really sad.
On the opposite side is the buffet area. At dinner time there were meatballs, rice, and boiled vegetables as a hot offering. Some sliced meats, a few savories, a salad bar, and little else.

Hot drink machines and refrigerators with sodas are also located here.
In conclusion

One could say "beautiful, but soulless." It is not big, so I dare not imagine how full it gets when an Emirates A380 takes off.

Pro
- Design
Against
- The bar counter, would like to but can't
