To end 2025 with a bang, I went around the world in less than 48h: how cool!!!

In recent hours I have been flooded with comments and DMs regarding my year-end madness.

Going around the world Flying from Milan to Paris and then, in rapid succession, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Munich and finally Milan.

The final itinerary was slightly different than planned, also because when you book flights with such tight transit times. anything can happen.

As the questions keep coming in, here is a little account of my madness.

But you never got out of the airport?

Absolutely not, unfortunately, however, the Delta flight from Haneda to Los Angeles left with more than 3 hours late And not only did it force me to change my plans, but it also blew up my stop in the city of angels.

I was going to go out and eat a hamburger from In-N-Out And watch the planes land.

So in the end, I was able to make just a hop - and a selfie - in Shibuya, with my friend Chris, which accompanied me for a piece of my journey.

But who pays for your tickets?

I told how and how much the tickets cost me And, as always, I pay out of my own pocket for all flights. This is a huge difference with all Italian (and not) travel bloggers or the like.

Me I fly like an ordinary passenger and my reviews are honest and sincere 100%. That is precisely why, when you see a video of mine, you can imagine that you will be treated the same way And you will know exactly what that particular booth offers.

But why do you do it?

What many people still don't understand-or simply don't know because they have only been following me for a short time-is that TFC is a job, not a hobby.

There are 10 people working on this project, which I recall being one of the editorial products edited by Edinet, my company.

For me, the possibility of building such an itinerary is. a dream. In a very short time, away from Marika and Bete, I bring home a huge amount of content for the website, social channels and YouTube.

I got to fly on three cabins I had not yet reviewed. Of course, the Japan Airlines First Class Is for a few, very few, Italians.

On the contrary, the Delta One Suite and everything on the ground that such a ticket offers interests potentially to thousands of Italians, as Delta flies From seven Italian airports to the U.S..

The same applies to Lufthansa's A380 and the product of economy, not only because ITA will join the German group, but because. Lufthansa's giants will fly for many more years and then such a video will have a very long life.

Irony of fate was the same plane where I had flown First Class in 2024.

But aren't you afraid of flying? Is there turbulence?

I could not do this work if you were afraid to fly.
And if you have anxiety when you have to catch a plane, I recommend you watch some of my videos: you will see that there is nothing to fear.

Get on board, read, watch a movie, eat, sleep, drink... and the flight is already over. The turbulence there have always been. True, statistically they say they have increased, but they have also increased flights, technologies to "count them" e cell phones to tell the story.

There is nothing to fear: aircraft are safe machines and a wing has never been broken by turbulence.

Always keep the belt fastened, avoid having small items on the coffee table, and most importantly, Don't fall asleep with a full glass nearby.

What are you left with from such stress?

I am left with beautiful memories, just as there are those who travel "only" to visit museums, stadiums or eat at starred restaurants. Those who call airports the NOT places, speaks clueless.

I chatted with a Lufthansa flight attendant, who told me how he meshes his part-time with everyday life and his two sons.

In the lounge at Los Angeles, a passenger told me how in the last three days they had been Five flights canceled due to bad weather And how he enjoyed living in remote airports on America's East Coast.

The pilots of Delta, who gave me a couple of collectible card, were curious about how it was possible that in Italy. there were only me talking about points, while in the U.S. it is like. a state religion.

In the beautiful Delta One Lounge at LAX, while I was booking a shower, the concierge lady told me. Of his honeymoon trip to Cinque Terre last year.

And then there are the people I meet in my travels. and who become friends. For example. Christian, known in a mileage run between Spain, Mexico and Brazil, with whom we have been part of this madness, but who a few days earlier he was at my house in Pietra Ligure..

I could do lots of other examples of wonderful memories I take home: the people I know, the dishes I taste. And it doesn't matter if they are In the middle of the street in Bangkok, having a beer at Sydney, or if I end up observing the sunset from the control tower of an airport.

But don't you ever bring your family?

Absolutely yes, also because we are back for two weeks in Polynesia, in early December.

With Marika we went to Tokyo to have a beer, we did weekends in New York, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates. When we can we do it. It was simply impossible this time.

And in any case, the midnight toast we made together.

But do you organize group trips?

Evidently the drift of travel bloggers who set out to organizing trips and accompanying groups is expanding.

I can guarantee and engrave on the stone which NOT going to happen something like that, unless I get involved in paying for everyone's tickets.

As the next March 17, St. Patrick's Day, When I bring some members of the community to New York: we will fly together, then everyone will have their own vacation.

In conclusion

Would I do it again? Absolutely yes. It is surreal to think of having made such an itinerary, just as it is to think that In ten days I will be back in Tokyo.
