Payback collection has gone off the radar of many users (including me), but that doesn't mean you should "give away" your points by letting them expire. Therefore, it is important to remember that January 31 will be the last day to use the point balance accumulated up to last December 31, while points accumulated since January 1, 2026 have an expiration date of 12/31/2029 and cannot be merged with those from the previous collection.
In this article:

I must say that between emails, pop-ups on the site, and notifications, Payback has gone to great lengths to communicate and remind people of the points expiration, but as is often the case, there are users who do not give consent to communications, do not authorize push notifications, and do not frequently open the app to check promos and other initiatives, so better to spread the word.
I had already explained how to use the points in a recent article and today I want to show how I "burned" my remaining points. I had 4,970 points and converted them into two €10 vouchers in Carrefour. You need 2500 points to get a 10€ voucher (or 1250 for 5€), but since I was 30 points short I paid 1€ to get the missing points, in the end with 1€ of spending I got 5€ to spend, so I still earned instead of letting them die in the account unused.
