LOT Polish Airlines has decided to change the atmosphere on board, and it is doing so by starting with one of the most featured aircraft in European fleets: the Boeing 737 MAX 8.
In this article:
The new cabin takes inspiration from the Polish natural landscapes, particularly by the Tatra Mountains, and by the warmth of the dawn light. The colors are not chosen at random: deep blues, copper e amber create a relaxing, elegant, almost domestic environment. The idea is to make the passenger feel "at home," even when flying to the other side of the world.
It is the same visual language that many frequent flyers have already become familiar with in LOT lounges in Warsaw and Chicago-a rare continuity in the world of aviation, where planes, lounges, and digital often seem to belong to different universes.
Behind the project is the hand of Tangerine, one of the best-known names in aircraft design, who worked closely with LOT to bring the brand inside the cabin, without turning it into a showcase.

The result is a cabin that you look at, but more importantly, you experience. The new seats offer:
- six-way adjustable headrest
- 60W USB-C socket
- smartphone and tablet holder
- Improved ergonomics even on longer flights

The seats are manufactured in Poland by RECARO, another detail that reinforces the connection with the territory and with the idea of a national product that does not give up global standards.
A red thread between lounges, planes and identity
LOT makes no secret of ambition: to create a consistent experience from check-in to takeoff, through lounge, cabin, and even website. The Mazurek and Polonez lounges in Warsaw, as well as the one in Chicago O'Hare International Airport, have already won design awards and represent the starting point of this new course.

Many passengers-especially on routes to the United States and Canada-choose LOT precisely because of that sense of familiarity they feel as soon as they board. It's an emotional detail, but those who fly often know how much it matters.
A new chapter, no tears
What is striking is not the shouted wow effect, but the consistency. LOT does not distort, does not chase ephemeral fashions: it evolves. It carries on a project begun years ago and does so with a clear, recognizable vision, deeply rooted in its own identity.

The 737 MAX 8 is just the beginning. In the coming years, the same language will come to other aircraft, new airport spaces, and digital platforms. A silent, but very real transformation.
And for a medium-sized European company today, it is perhaps the smartest choice of all.
