Friday 09/01 will cross arms for 4 hours - from 1 to 5 p.m. - the staff of the Assohandlers member handling companies operating at Italian airport sites. These include: Airport Handling (operating at Linate, Malpensa and Fiumicino airports), Aviapartner (Linate, Malpensa, Turin, Verona, Bologna, Ciampino, Fiumicino, Palermo, Catania, Reggio Calabria, Lamezia Terme, Crotone), Aviation Services (Bologna, Cuneo, Catania, Ciampino, Fiumicino, Naples, Salerno, Venice), BGY International Services (Bergamo), Management Airport Pantelleria, GH Italy, Sagat Handling (Turin), Sogaerdyn (Cagliari), Swissport (Linate) and Tuscany Airports Handling.

Not only that: they will strike - for 24 hours - the employees of Swissport Italy operating in theMilan-Linate airport, the workers of Airport Handling seconded to both LIN and Malpensa as well as the staff sailor by easyJet. Finally, they will abstain from work-in this case for 8 hours, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. - the employees of Vueling.

As stated on the website of ENAC - the National Civil Aviation Authority - during strikes there are so-called "protection time slots": 7 to 10 a.m. e 6 to 9 p.m. flights must still be made.
