We talk very little about Hyatt on TFC, but it is one of the best chains in the world and one of the best loyalty programs, and right now there is a promo that, if activated and taken advantage of well, can turn a few nights at the hotel into a nice bunch of extra points.
Hyatt Bonus Journeys
In this article:
Hyatt has launched (again) one of those promotions that appeals to those who collect points: Clear rules, cumulative accumulation, bonuses that come even if you don't make very long stays.

To participate, you must be subscribed to World of Hyatt e register yourself to the promo Between February 2, 2026 and April 15, 2026. Valid nights are those completed after registration e within the same period (February 2-April 15, 2026).
Translated into "barbonese": if you don't register, even if you sleep 20 nights at Hyatt, you don't take the bonus. Register now and then you forget.
How the main bonus works
What if your next trip was because of points?

The heart of the promo is this:
- 3,000 bonus points for every 3 eligible nights
- vale from the first stay after registration
- maximum 21,000 bonus points totals with these mechanics
So the scale is very simple:
- 3 nights = 3,000 points
- 6 nights = 6,000 points
- 9 nights = 9,000 points
... up to a maximum of 21,000.
Here Hyatt does something that many chains handle in a more "cheap" way: for the promo a Eligible Night can be:
- One night paid with eligible rate
- Or a night redeemed with points (Free Night Award)
This is one of those lines that changes everything, because it means you can:
- Use points to book award nights,
- and meanwhile take the bonus as well (within the scope of the promo).
Where it's worth: not just "classic" Hyatts

The promo counts nights in:
- Hyatt hotels and resorts participating in World of Hyatt
- Mr. & Mrs. Smith
- The Venetian Resort
- Homes & Hideaways by World of Hyatt

Important Note: For Mr & Mrs Smith / Venetian / Homes & Hideaways you must make reservations. via Hyatt channels, otherwise they are ineligible.
Practical examples (to see if it suits you)
- Long weekends + a few scattered nights: do 2 nights in March and 1 night in April → total 3 nights → 3,000 bonus points.
- A week on the road for work: 6 total nights in the period → 6,000 bonus points.
- 9 nights between city break and sea (also in different stays) → 9,000 bonus points.
The key is that no need for consecutiveness: cumulative counts.
The "anti-fraud rules"
Two things that prevent you from nasty surprises:
- Only the room you occupy counts: if you book two rooms in the same reservation, do not double the valid nights.
- Bonus points do not make status: are bonuses, not "base points," so they don't help you climb elite levels (base points do that).
In conclusion
- Sign up/enter World of Hyatt
- Register now for the promo (So any night you make from here on out can count)
- Then plan knowing that each "block" from 3 nights unlocks you 3,000 points.
