Like every first day of the month, Flying Blue has uploaded the new Promo Rewards: prize tickets discounted up to 25% bookable using Miles from the loyalty program of Air France-KLM.
In this article:
The window is the classic one: reservation in March e trips to be made by August 31, 2026. As always, for long haul, the promotions are valid on flights Air France and KLM to/from Europe., including any European feeder via Paris or Amsterdam.
There are also several European promos (both Economy and Business), but this month, like all previous ones, the real value is on long haul. On short-medium haul I only point out that the classic thresholds from: 7,500 Miles in Economy or 18,750 Miles in Business with various routes to/from Paris and Amsterdam, plus a series of Extra Exclusive dedicated to Flying Blue Extra subscribers.
Long-haul promos.
The most interesting part of the round of March 2026 is undoubtedly the list of long-haul destinations, with a very wide selection especially towards North America, but also with interesting options in Asia, Africa, the Caribbean and South America.

Long-haul in Economy: the richest (and most interesting block for those who want to maximize Miles)
The most aggressive threshold remains that from 18,750 Miles in Economy, where we find several North American cities:
- Orlando (Air France) - from 18,750 Miles
- Seattle (Air France) - from 18,750 Miles
- Detroit (Air France) - from 18,750 Miles
- Chicago (KLM) - from 18,750 Miles
- Portland, Oregon (KLM) - from 18,750 Miles
- San Diego (KLM) - from 18,750 Miles
- San Francisco (KLM) - from 18,750 Miles
Going up slightly, to 22,500 Miles in Economy, even more mouth-watering destinations appear:
- Conakry (Air France) - from 22,500 Miles
- Hong Kong (Air France/KLM) - from. 22,500 Miles
- Salvador (Air France, one-way) - from 22,500 Miles
- Santiago de Chile (Air France, one-way) - from 22,500 Miles
For those who accumulate Miles but do not yet have "business class" availability, this is one of those monthlies to watch carefully: Many long routes, several U.S. cities, and very competitive entry prices.
Those aiming for the middle ground between comfort and cost in Miles will find some viable options in Premium:
- Miami (Air France) - from 30,000 Miles
- Las Vegas (KLM) - from 30,000 Miles
- Houston (KLM) - from 30,000 Miles
- Washington (KLM) - from 30,000 Miles
- Saint-Denis (Reunion) (Air France) - from 37,500 Miles
These are prices that can make sense especially on longer or seasonally expensive routes, where AF/KLM Premium Economy is often a good compromise.
On the Business side, the "standard" list is not very long, but there are some interesting destinations:
- Ottawa (Air France) - from 45,000 Miles
- Bogotá (Air France/KLM) - from. 63,750 Miles
- Libreville (Air France) - from 63,750 Miles
- St. Maarten (Air France) - from 63,750 Miles
- Cartagena (KLM) - from 63,750 Miles
The price from 45,000 Miles in Business for Ottawa is what immediately jumps out at you: this is not a route you see every month in promotion, and it is a good opportunity for those who want to use Miles on a North American route other than the usual hubs.
Promo Extra (Flying Blue Extra): the separate "Extra Exclusive" offers.
As has been the case for the past few months, subscribers to Flying Blue Extra Have access to additional Promo Rewards marked with the sticker "Extra Exclusif" (Extra Exclusive).
Below I separate them, as requested, because they are in fact a second promo list and deserve separate attention.
Long-haul "Extra Exclusive" in Economy
- Atlanta (KLM) - from 18,750 Miles
- Singapore (Air France) - from 22,500 Miles
- Mauritius (Air France) - from 22,500 Miles
- Aruba (KLM) - from 22,500 Miles
- Bonaire (KLM) - from 22,500 Miles
This section is very strong: Singapore and Mauritius at 22,500 Miles are two destinations that, on paper, can really appeal to those who have flexibility and seek value on the Miles.
Long-haul "Extra Exclusive" in Business
- Toronto (Air France) - from 45,000 Miles
- Montréal (Air France) - from 45,000 Miles
- Dubai (KLM) - from 45,000 Miles
- Mumbai (Bombay) (KLM) - from 63,750 Miles
Here the three routes from 45,000 Miles in Business: Toronto, Montréal and Dubai are exactly the kind of promos that may prompt someone to seriously consider Flying Blue Extra subscription, if exploited consistently.
The rules to remember (always)
It is worth repeating the usual key points, because these are often the ones that make the difference when booking:
- Promo Rewards are subject to availability
- prices shown are "from" (so the minimum available)
- to the Miles should be added taxes, surcharges and fees
- Flying Blue prize tickets do not earn Miles or XP
- long-haul promos are on flights operated by Air France/KLM and may include connections in Europe via Paris or Amsterdam
In conclusion
Very interesting month, especially for those seeking "Smart" redemptions in economy on long haul: The list is extensive and there are several U.S. cities at low admission price.
If, on the other hand, we look at the Business, the standard part is more selective, but with Ottawa at 45,000 Miles and some particular routes in South America/Caribbean/Africa there is still interesting material. The real difference, however, is made by the Extra Exclusive, where heavy names such as Toronto, Montréal, Dubai and Singapore.
