I bought a ticket for the first flight of Aerolinee Siciliane, or maybe not....

We have written in recent weeks about the debut of the new regional airline Aerolinee Siciliane, then in the last few hours I saw several articles about the fact that tickets for the first flights had gone on sale.

Compared with early reports, the debut will not be in May , but on June 1.

Actually on the company's social profiles I saw, what looks like a press release, talking about May 31, but going to the site search there is no record of any flight on that date.

I don't want to be mean, but better to prevent than "fine"

Before I even recount my experience of "not" buying, I want to give some advice to the developers of the site, the issue of shareholder, small shareholder, resident, special rates is crazy "crap."

Since the site is being tested I will take the liberty of being a betatester and say that this is only confusing, also because then, in the result you get, the difference remains even if you do not select anything.

Shareholder Class, Small Shareholder Class are in addition to the traditional Economy and Business, but to the quick and inexperienced eye, they could be missed and the user would find himself paying a discounted rate without being entitled to it and (almost) without his knowledge.

So my advice is:

• if I don't select anything I only see Y and J
• if I select one of the special options I only see that rate

I thought I could buy and instead....

Okay it is being tested, but I didn't think it was little more than a mockup, partly because if you want to start flying you have to sell tickets, and if you want to sell you have to be able to have people buy online. It's too bad that when I got to clicking on "pay" I realized that the only mode of payment was wire transfer.

I then decide to go ahead and find out that no, you cannot buy a ticket, simply because the flights are not yet available, but in the meantime they have gotten hold of my information, cell phone and email.

In conclusion

April 1 is still a long way off, the announcements, however, came in the middle of Carnival, and then I get the idea that it's all a joke, because only in Italy can we launch an airlineaa like this, Even EGO Airways had been more serious.
