A clubhouse is well worth a visit: review of Virgin Atlantic's lounge at LAX (accessible with PP)

Clubhouse Is synonymous with excellence. The waiting rooms of Virgin Atlantic They are never trivial, they are not like any other and, above all, they have the great defect of being difficult to visit, unless you don't have the right boarding pass in your pocket. In this case, however, even a Priority Pass.
In this article:

The hall at the TBIT of LAX Is the newest, without considering, however, the one at home in LHR, where the already beautiful Clubhouse has just given herself a facelift extensive and has not yet finished with touch-ups.
Location

We are located at the Tom Bradley International Terminal, a very short distance from an equally beautiful lounge, the Star Alliance Lounge, which today is also the home of passengers ITA Airways.

It is impossible not to notice it, with these Virgin red walls and the tinted glasses that give a glimpse of what is going on inside.
Access

As I have already explained in several articles, Virgin Atlantic is a member of SkyTeam, but its lounges have different access rules than those of other alliance carriers.
However, there is an important postulate: outside VS flight schedules, this lounge also opens its doors to travelers regardless of the ticket held. All you need is a Priority Pass.
The lounge
It is not large, but honestly it is already a surprise that it is there. Being able to use both the Clubhouse both the Sky Club of Delta o Delta One Lounge, passengers could have been accommodated without the need for a proprietary room, as is the case in reverse at London Heathrow, where passengers Delta can use Virgin's lounge.
The lounge of Air France would also be this affordable, but being in the satellite of the terminal, so very little quick access.
Basically, it is divided into three rooms: the relaxation area On the right, behind the reception desk;
the food zone, in front of the beautiful bar counter;
the lounge area.

Then there are booths where I can isolate myself and where, needless to say, I worked while waiting for my flight to board.
Services

As mentioned, it is not large, but the SPA Is present and operational. There are also bathrooms and showers.

And there is no shortage ofIconic corner with souvenirs of VS.
Food&Beverage

I didn't goof off: I just indulged in a glass of champagne Waiting for my flight home.
Micro buffet, and then table service, with products ordered via QR code directly from the site.
In conclusion

Beautiful, but if you fly in Upper Class my advice is to aim for the Sky Club, enjoy drinks and terrace and skip this Clubhouse.

Pro
- The design
- Table service
Against
- Lack of natural light
