Hilton Tokyo Odaiba review: out of "downtown" but in an interesting location

Those who frequently attend TFC know very well that I rarely go back to the same hotel when I'm out in the world, of course it may happen that for practical reasons I do, but whenever I am traveling I aim to review new facilities.
In this article:
This concept, When it comes to Tokyo it is even more valid, since I am often in town for one night and therefore want to avoid wasting time in the endless commutes of this city, translated each time I aim for a different neighborhood to have a chance to see a different bit of the city.
Reservation
As usual, if you want to get points and status, there is only one way to book: do it from the Hilton website/app.

What if your next trip was because of points?

One night cost me about 44k yen, or 235 euros.

One night, one useful stay To renew Diamond status at the end of the year and about 9600 HH points by maximizing all possible promotions and bonuses. And I remember that 15k points gets us a free night in many hotels around the world.
Location

L'Hilton Tokyo Odaiba is located in one of the most scenic locations in the Japanese capital, directly overlooking Tokyo Bay and with privileged views of the Rainbow Bridge And on the city skyline.

The hotel is in the Daiba area, so in a more airy and scenic context than the denser downtown neighborhoods, But it still remains well connected.
Odaiba is one of Tokyo's most distinctive areas: an artificial island transformed into a modern neighborhood overlooking the water, with a mix of shopping malls, attractions, leisure spaces and bay-view promenades.

It is a different Tokyo from the one of alleys, signs and urban chaos: here the atmosphere is more relaxed, broader, almost "maritime," but still with the spectacular cut typical of Japan. It is an ideal area for those who want to alternate between exploring the city and quieter moments, perhaps between a ride along the waterfront, a view of the illuminated bridge, and an evening with skyline views.
From Odaiba one moves quite well to the more touristy areas of Tokyo thanks mainly to two lines: the Yurikamome, also perfect from a panoramic point of view, and the Rinkai Line, more practical for quickly reaching important junctions. The hotel is directly connected to the Daiba stasion, a not inconsiderable plus in this city.
Check-in

I arrived in the late morning, check-in time had not yet ticked off, but thanks to the Japanese welcome and Diamond status I was found a room and given the opportunity to check in immediately.
That the room was not ready for me I could tell by the happy anniversary card I found waiting for me along with some treats.
The room
From basic room to upgrade with skyline and Rainbow Bridge view room, absolutely priceless. Of course the view was also over a part of the backroom, but you can't always want everything in life, but having a small terrace is still a blessing when traveling around the world.
Not being in an area where cm is invaluable also leads to having a really spacious room, sure maybe it wasn't the coolest and most modern room in the world, but still it was really nice.
King bed, with a nice topper, uffucio nook to work in, and sitting area with lounge to study the map before setting out.
Classically equipped, there was nothing less than what would be logical to expect in a facility like this, including the woefully empty refrigerator.
The bathroom was also very generous. Shower and tub, Japanese toilet seat, but not the latest model, and the amenities that is usual to find in a Hilton.
Another respected tradition of hotels in Japan is technology, which we often find not very useful, lots of paper with lots of info such as shuttle schedules to/from the airport, coupons for restaurants, and all the hotel info. Honorable mention for the multiple sockets that save those traveling without the right equipment.
The lounge

Like any self-respecting Hilton, Diamond guests and above-yes because now there are also Diamond Reserves-have access to lounges where they can eat, drink, or make business appointments.
Very nice room with a beautiful terrace perfect for those staying here during warmer periods, enjoying the sunset with a nice drink (free) helps maximize the cost of the room and calm the final bill of the vacation.
Breakfast

The breakfast room is the ground floor, in the main body of the facility. As always, the benefit of the Gold Hilton Honors level included in the Platinum Amex allows you to save money every time you stay in facilities of this chain.
Bright environment with a nice view of Tokyo Bay.
Truly comprehensive offerings and able to fill the stomach and spirit throughout the day walking around one of the world's most iconic cities.
In conclusion
A truly impressive structure, not to be outdone by theHilton Tokyo Bay or to that of Shinjuku. The location is interesting because in Odaiba you will definitely pass there on a trip to Tokyo and it might be a good location as a starting point.
