In March had fallen to the First Class. As of today, May 6, business class, premium economy and economy, to which Lufthansa will extend its FOX (Future Onboard Experience) on long-haul routes.

In a note, Lufthansa CEO Jens Ritter emphasized the "exceptional effort made over the past two years to arrive at this result," the "seventy million euros invested in the FOX project." and "perseverance in carrying the program through to the end even in times that are not as easy as the present," in which, among other things, Lufthansa closed its subsidiary Cityline overnight .
In Business Class the onboard experience will be elevated thanks to new menus by chef Johann Lafer, there will be a richer breakfast menu, and a completely new set of cutlery, glassware, and tableware. There will be a 'cake by the slice' service for dessert and passengers will be able to have their second meal served whenever they most desire during the course of the flight (a kind of 'dine on demand' in a reduced version).
In Premium Economy, the main meal (lunch or dinner) has been 'redesigned' with a 'Business Class level' starter and a choice of three different hot main courses.
The selection of drinks has been expanded and a new service of spirits (digestives) at the end of the meal will be introduced, along with coffee or tea. For added comfort on board, guests will also receive a pair of slippers.
In Economy, for the first time passengers will be given an amenity kit containing a sleeping mask and earplugs.
There will be new cutlery and new trays , as well as a menu printed on paper at each place. On flights lasting more than ten hours, there will be a choice of three different options for the main course, instead of the previous two.
