Franjo Tuđman Airport made my top 10 list of most aesthetically pleasing airports.
In this article:

Opened in 2015, on the outside it resembles Abu Dhabi's new airport. Or perhaps it would be better to say that the Emirates was inspired by it when they designed theirs.
Inside, however, it is completely different: a spider web of steel tubes, an almost unsupported supporting structure in the middle of the terminal. Really beautiful.

It is also not very busy, especially since United is flying to Split this year. Here, by contrast, the traffic is that of the home airline Croatia Airlines, the Lufthansa Group, Air France-KLM and, of course, many low-cost carriers.
Location
The lounge is located on the departure floor. Past the duty free, turn left and proceed to the opposite end of the terminal.

About halfway down the road is the lounge, the only one in the entire airport.
Access

Croatia Airlines is a Star Alliance member but does not offer its own lounge at its home airport. This lounge, therefore, serves all carriers and all passengers with cards such as Priority Pass, DragonPass and the like.
The lounge
It is an L-shaped lounge.

Behind the reception is the first hall, the one where the buffet is also located. To the left of the reception, however, is the second hall.
The environment is not bright at all: it has very few openings, but fortunately warm light was aimed for. Too bad that Dark furniture, floors and walls make everything very unrelaxing.
I have no idea if it could ever be full, but in any case it seems adequate for departures at this stopover.
Food & Beverage

From such a lounge you expect little or nothing, but instead, here comes the surprise.
The hot proposal is there, with several options. There are desserts, salads and snacks. There is really everything.

There is also a pancake machine.
More than good beverage offerings as well. Everything is self-service: from coffee and cappuccino machines to refrigerators with soft drinks and juices. There is no shortage of wine fridges or even super-alcoholic offerings.
In conclusion

Good job, just too bad it's really dark.

Pro
- Gastronomic offerings
- Ordered
Against
- Not very bright
