Seven flights in FIRST class (on A380) with Emirates for less than €250 each
A tour of Southeast Asia and the Middle East, alone or with company. At a never-before-seen rate
When Emirates decided to focus on the A380, it did so by redesigning the experience in the air and on the ground: for the first time a bar with associated lounge and a spa where you could shower and pamper yourself before landing were installed on an aircraft.
In this article:
Flying first class on the upper deck of the giant of the skies is an experience that begins well before you arrive at the airport, doing so at a cost of less than €2,000 is an opportunity that does not come along often, being able to creating an itinerary that involves flying seven legs in first class (+ 1 in business) is virtually impossible, or nearly impossible.
The itinerary
In recent days we had talked about the chance to try two flights in first class for less than €600, what we are about to tell you is an evolution of this itinerary.
Starting from Bangkok it will be possible to fly to Hong Kong. From the former British protectorate you will Will fly to Dubai (via Bangkok again, but without leaving one's little apartment). From Dubai one will be able to fly aboard the 777/300, the other aircraft in the fleet in the Emirates airline, to Muscat (the capital of Oman). At this point you will return to Dubai, from there to HongKong and finally to Bangkok.
A true tour of the Middle East and Southeast Asia, with the opportunity to also visit many other places thanks to stop-overs.
We are not talking about a single flight, but an itinerary that allows for all the stop-overs one desires. One can, therefore, stay four days in Hong Kong, a week in Dubai, a few days in Muscat, and then, if desired, a few more days of relaxation in Dubai and Hong Kong before returning permanently to Bangkok.
The entire itinerary in First Class, except for one flight from Muscat to Dubai, which if operated by FLyDubai will be "only" in business.
Of course in order to take advantage of this opportunity one has to "fly" all the way to Thailand but, to have a term of comparison, a round-trip ticket from Milan to Dubai today costs no less than €3,800 and without possibility of showering in the clouds, as it is not known when the route will be operated with A380 again.
We are talking about more than 24 hours aboard one of the world's most exclusive cabins, of course, all the extras are included in the fare, such as chauffeur service before and after each and every flight, opportunities to drink Dom Perignon from 2008, some of the most exclusive spirits, access to lounges, including the signature lounge in Dubai, and enjoy dishes prepared by star chefs both on the ground and on board.
Two aspects are most interesting: The final cost ranging from 1,750 to 1,800€. and the ability to travel throughout 2021, including into the second half of the year when hopefully there will finally be no more restrictions or constraints on intercontinental travel.
The best way to pay for the ticket? Simple: using the American Express Platinum, a card with which you will have full insurance both in case of inconvenience before leaving (with a full refund of the amount paid) and during the trip to which we add covid-19 insurance also offered free of charge By the airline.
